First Post!

I've learned, yet again, how uncreative I am (Mom: I'm artistic, but not creative). I started a blog about a month ago, with the clever, I thought, title "California Dreamin'". And then I couldn't remember my login or web address so I just did an eblogger search only to come up with about 500,000 other blogs with the same title. Apparently lifting the title from a well-known song was not the creative genius I had hoped it was. So, I’m going with the simple "Girl Meets Ohio," which was in only in part lifted from the book I’m reading, "Girls Meets God." (Great book by the way. Not cheesy at all, like the title might suggest. I'm going to post a reading list soon.) Anyway, here are my adventures as I meet the beautiful Buckeye State. Stay tuned…
